The Bill Ring Show - #31&32

Here`s the next Bill Ring Show. One little thing of intrest---the song Nichols` Junction is likely written by Doc Martin. On the west side of Springfield, Mo there`s an area natives still call Nichols` Junction.
I`m hoping to start posting more often as winter comes. Seems music related activity is easier to make time for in the winter.

Track list for show #31---
1. Chattanooga Shoe Shine Boy - Bill Ring
2. Gosh I Miss You All The Time - Doc Martin
3. Rag Mop - Slim Wilson And The Tall Timber Trio
4. Crybaby Heart - Bill Ring
5. Trademark - Speedy Haworth
6. Mansion Over The Hill Top - Bill Ring

Track list for show #32---
1. Let Old Mother Nature Have Her Way - Bill Ring
2. Country Gentleman - Speedy Haworth
3. I Don`t Mind - Sally Briggs
4. Call Her Your Sweetheart - Bill Ring

  1. Welcome back!! I'm from Springfield - sure, Nichols Junction was on the west side. Sunset Drive-In, Seven Gables Restaurant. It was along Route 66. My grandparents used to live in that area. Thanks as always for the Bill Ring shows. Keep 'em coming. Randy

  3. Thank you. I've been filing away all the Bill Ring transcriptions. Your excellent transfers are appreciated. The only copies of the shows I'd encountered before were at 64kbps. Yours sound so much better.

  4. Could you take a listen to "Catfish Take a Look at that Worm"? I've been reassembling these into a single file to make a contiguous show and it sounds as if a piece of the beginning of this tune is missing.

Again thanks so much for these Bill Ring Shows ~ rich

    1. I downloaded the zip file and it played fine for me. Try downloading it again. Maybe you accidently edited a little out?
